Tawakalt is an associate in the corporate commercial department at Jackson, Etti & Edu. Her other superpower lies in her captivating poetry performances. With her skillful use of sarcasm, puns, and thought-provoking narratives, she weaves remarkable stories that deeply resonate with the human experience. Her talents have garnered her invitations to grand stages worldwide, including the Presidential Villa in Abuja and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Goalkeepers event in New York City. She also received an award of recognition for creative culture from the Ooni of Ife at the Royal African Awards in 2021. During her time as an undergraduate, she actively engaged in extracurricular activities. In her penultimate year, her team won the First Bank-Organised CFA Ethics Challenge, securing a scholarship. In her final year, following numerous successful debate tournaments, she assumed the leadership of the Faculty of Law’s debate team. Tawakalt enjoys watching sitcoms and reading African fiction.
